The purpose & heart behind this project is to assist people from all walks of life, to find purpose, help them build a career and mentor them along the way. By partnering with different Youth shelters/organisations, Veterans Affairs, Disability Services & The Indigenous Employment Program, we have the ability to help these people change the trajectory of their life. At Accor Hotels, we have the resource, the values and the leaders to help these people find a sense of hope. We propose a 5 week program, where the candidates will rotate through the 3 departments buddied with a team member, so they are able to train confidentially. During this time they will also be paired with an Accor Mentor in whom they will be able to check in with. On completion of the 5 weeks program, the candidate will graduate and be offered a permanent role if successful.
We are pleased to have successful candidates graduate from this program who have been successful in employment at Mercure Melbourne Southbank.
